The Abundant Oasis
The expansive, open backyard space shown here serves as the foundation for The Abundant Oasis a thoughtfully designed, dementia-informed sanctuary dedicated to enhancing the dignity, safety, and well-being of seniors. With its natural landscape, open layout, and tree-lined boundaries, this space will be transformed into a therapeutic environment featuring accessible, slip-resistant walking paths, vibrant sensory gardens, shaded reflection areas, a community gathering lawn, and the signature Memory Hall a nostalgic, 1950s–60s-inspired activity pavilion. More than a garden, The Abundant Oasis will become a place of healing, connection, and purpose, where community engagement and fundraising efforts directly support the care and quality of life of seniors in Merced County.
